I don't know where I am going with what I am doing right now.
Part Time Honours in Information Systems... What am I going to do with that? Do I really need it? I would like a university degree, I don't know why, but I thought it would be nice. What's so nice about it? It's a lot of work. Seriously - I had no idea it would be this hard.
I am giving up on social life for now. Maybe once a week I'll go out. I am not allowed to smoke okka at home and this is a major problem for me now. I don't really have any neighbours I could go smoke at and have to drive at least 25 minutes to smoke a decent okka. Working shifts and now ezproxy is down. ezproxy allows me to actually download journal papers and etc to add to my lit review. I have SO many papers downloaded already but they don't apply :(. Note to self - get the journals as you need them.
What do I like?
What don't I like?
I don't really have any hobbies besides meeting up with friends and talking loads of crap till the early hours of the morning
I know I like holidays
Maybe I can do something with that?
Something worthwhile maybe?
Start a tourism company?
Start off slowly and do little trips for whoever.
But the tourism market is currently overcrowded with companies - especially because of the world cup and soccer BS
I actually don't want to be here when this world cup happens.

I don't like tv
I don't like spam
I don't like when I can't meet a deadline
I don't like people breaking promises
I don't people who are slow on the uptake
I don't like jokes I've heard before
I like quick wit
I don't laugh often enough
I don't smile often enough
(ok the above 2 don't count as likes or dislikes - or maybe they do?)
I don't like pointless forwarded email
There's this line which deems something funny or not and when that line is crossed and someone's feelings or person is hurt. I don't like it when this line is crossed.

I like most of my friends
I like okka but i wanna give up as well

I'd like to get married n have kids some day
I like good coffee
i think too much which can be a good or a bad thing.
I pick on poor grammar and spelling but mine is not too great which is rather hypocritical of me.

So where have I been I ask myself
I am unable to answer
So why am I writing this I ask myself
I am again unable to answer

So blogging has not been one of my priorities as of late
I can't even keep track of what has happened since I last blog
I am too lazy to go back and read
I was just reminded of what I have typed in a blog before
It took me a while to realize I actually wrote that

What is currently happening in my life?
Started a course on Computer Forensics
It's postgrad and I don't have a degree
I attend lectures for 5 days every 2 months or so
We then get assignments to do between the lecture weeks
Passed the first 2 already so it looks a bit promising
Need to rid myself of some evils viz. Procrastination and thinking about thinking about thinking
Supervisor job is going well alhamdulillah
Starting 3rd full time week close to end of June
Planning a 10 day trip to PE with some friends after that
Garden Route rocks btw
Bungee, zip lines, cango caves, croc cage diving, big tree etc
Then back home to start with assignment which should have arrived already
Then up to Durban for a few days of sun - Cape Town heart of winter is about now

I've read my last blog
Didn't even mention my holiday of note
Went to London, Ibiza, Paris, Pamplona, Barcelona and Madrid
The trip was about a month long
Was in London visiting friends and doing holiday stuff
Went to Ibiza cos it was the cheapest trip available at the time
Was kinda getting bored of London town
Had 2 extra days on my Schengen Visa
So I took a 2 day trip to a beach and party island
I was more interested in the beach though - it was 44 degrees!
Got back to London town and got sick cos of climate change
Paris was for holidaying and Euro Disney was fun
Fell asleep on the boat tour thingy
Then back to London town
Then met up with adventure travel group
Road trip to Spain!
Many drunk Ozzies and Kiwis with us on the trip
I had to travel alone n meet these people on my own (drunk as they were)
Other friends were on another bus because they were going back to London and I wasn't
Stayed for 5 days on a camping site close to Pamplona
Ran with the bulls on my last day
Then road trip to Barcelona and stayed a few nights
Then fly to Madrid for a few nights
They lost my big bag on the way to Madrid
Yes the one with most of my clothes in
Not to mention the gifts
So back to Amsterdam with no big bag
And back home
Landed at the airport with nothing to declare :D
Dad looked at me funny cos I left with 2 bags and came back with one

Well that was my trip
Was fun while it lasted
Made some new friends
Met up with some old friends
Travel Bug's still got me by the kneterrs (sp.)

I'll blog again when I do blog
And when I do blog, then I would have posted that blog after a while - unless something unforeseen happens, like a big giant hare jumps on me and gnaws at my inner ear making the pain unbearable and I need to go to hospital or something.

It doesn't rhyme though

(force of habit- feels like I just wrote an email)

i'm late

was supposed to blog hours ago - but today has been somewhat busy. only had my coffee at 11am which means i been doing work stuff but don't remember what it was... or was it work?

i shaved my beard off this evening cos i have to visit the spanish embassy next tuesday and don't wanna be seen as a terrorist or anything. oh i haven't mentioned the holiday i am planning on blogspot yet... i'll hopefully post something later in this regard.

blog sabbatical

I was busy blogging and someone accidentally kicked my power adaptor resetting my computers. I won't mention his name or I might be implicated for being part of a human traffic operation selling people at my own free will.

I kinda miss blogging but will try and keep at it again. No matter how short or how long the text will be. Had some S PRESS O from this place in Green Point today - feels like my eyebrows have retracted into my skull. Good smelling coffee - good tasting coffee - good all round. It was 4 shots of it by the way. My speech has become considerably faster yet the nonsense protruding from the larger gaping hole in my head seems to remain constant - just more erratic - sometimes i can't keep up cos I am speaking faster than i can think then i stop in the middle of a sentence and then try and remember what i was thinking but it doesn't seem to catch up with my mouth and possibly reroutes via some other channel and its gone for like forever.

time to go home now
i intend blogging tomorrow again... so watch this space

been a hectic couple of weeks at work. been thinking about blogging but haven't really had the chance with so much happening at work and in my social arena. i look at my blog and see my typo's, knowing they are usually written in haste and not checked afterwards. i usually notice a spelling error or any other mispronounciation made by others and look past myself. i know i am not perfect but i should not overlook my little mistakes and look at other people's mistakes.
hectic past weekend - my friend was married and the whole indian wedding was quite an experience. 1st time i experience the full bollywood wedding experience. it's quite tiring if you ask me. i will continue this blog very soon inshaAllah. i am off to Durban this Saturday for another wedding on Sunday in Richard's Bay and then flying back home on monday night. Tuesday i am off to listen to a talk by George Galloway! what an interesting individual! Google him if u don't know who he is... you might find some streaming clips of him on Sky news and the like.
